SwipeClean Privacy Policy

Updated 2 October 2026

SwipeClean is provided by Alejandro Pacheco. This policy explains the information used by the app and the advertising integration being prepared for a future version.

Photo library and local data

SwipeClean requests access to your Apple Photos library so you can review photos and videos, mark items for deletion, and confirm deletion. You can grant limited access or revoke access in system Settings. The app stores media metadata, review decisions, and undo information on your device. Apple manages your Photos library and any iCloud Photos synchronization under your Apple account settings.

Analytics and diagnostics

SwipeClean uses PostHog for usage analytics, diagnostic events, and session replay. Information can include app and device details, permission status, feature interactions, session activity, review and deletion counts, space saved, and error information. Analytics uses an identifier resolved from your iCloud/CloudKit account when available, or a locally persisted identifier. Session replay can record representations of the app interface and interactions, subject to the SDK's masking and capture behavior.

iCloud

The app uses Apple's iCloud services for a user identifier and synchronization of lifetime space-saved statistics and last-activity information, when available. Apple processes that information under its own privacy terms.

Advertising in a future version

The current version does not integrate AdMob. A future version may use Google AdMob to display ads. When that integration is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may process device and advertising identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostic information to deliver ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud. Google's information is available at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads and https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Where required, an advertising consent message will let you accept, reject, or manage consent. The app must provide access to privacy options so you can change your choice. Any use of Apple's advertising identifier requiring tracking permission must follow Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission flow.

Support, retention, and choices

If you contact support, the information you send is used to investigate and respond to your request. App data on your device is retained until it is removed through app or system controls. Information processed by Apple, PostHog, or advertising providers is subject to their respective retention and privacy controls. You can manage Photos and notification permissions in system Settings and manage iCloud through your Apple account.

For privacy questions or applicable access, correction, or deletion requests, contact support@hevcut.com. Requests may require sufficient information to locate the relevant records and verify the requester.

This policy will be updated when the app's data handling changes.
