Rorg: AI Home Inventory
Effective date: February 23, 2026
Rorg is a household inventory app that helps you catalog items with AI-powered photo recognition and organize them into color-coded boxes. Your privacy is fundamental to how we build Rorg. This policy explains how your data is handled.
All your data is stored privately on your device and synced through your own iCloud account. This means:
When you use AI cataloging, your item photo is sent through a secure proxy to Google Gemini for analysis. The AI suggests a name, description, and tags for your item. The proxy does not store your photos or responses. Google's API does not use your data for model training.
We collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (e.g. feature adoption, error rates) to improve the app. This data is not tied to your identity. We do not sell analytics data or use it for advertising.
Rorg does not access your location, contacts, microphone, health data, or browsing history. No advertising identifiers are used.
Your data lives on your device and in your private iCloud account. Deleting the app removes all local data. iCloud data can be removed from your Apple Account settings.
Rorg is not directed at children under 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
