FX Calc is a currency converter designed around a multi-row inline calculator. Your privacy is fundamental to how we build our apps. This policy explains how your data is handled.

All calculator states, custom active rows, and selected currencies are stored locally on your device inside standard App Group storage.

• We do not run custom servers to host your calculations or histories.
• Your watchOS app runs as a standalone Companion, storing its state independently on your Apple Watch.
• We do not have access to the numbers you type or the math expressions you evaluate.

The FX Calc on-device price scanner processes camera frames in real time to capture prices.

• All OCR (optical character recognition) and conversion are done 100% on-device using native iOS Vision APIs.
• No images, video streams, or text results from the camera are ever sent to external servers or third parties.

To provide live currency updates, FX Calc queries the free Exchange Rates API (open.er-api.com) to fetch rate conversions pivoted through USD. No personal identifiers, location info, or search queries are sent during these updates.

We collect anonymous, aggregate telemetry (such as app launch success, error rates, and purchase signals) to ensure performance and reliability. No data regarding your inputs or conversions is analyzed.

• Exchange Rates API — provides real-time rate updates offline caching.
• RevenueCat — manages subscription status and premium access without sharing conversion or math data.

FX Calc does not access your location, contacts, microphone, health data, or web search history. No advertising identifiers are tracked.

FX Calc is not directed at children under 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
